Registration

Seoul Academy for International Arbitration 2019 will be held on 21 September 2019.

Registration Instruction

  • To apply, please complete The 2019 Application Form and upload a Curriculum Vitae with a photo.
  • The deadline for submitting an application is 11 September 2019.

Registration Fee

KRW 150,000 / USD 150 (VAT included)

If you register by 30 August 2019, you will enjoy the early bird discount.

  • Early bird fee : 10% discount from the regular fee

Fees include:

  • Academy program, which will be provided in advance of the academy to all admitted applicants
  • Lecture materials
  • Lunch / Dinner (Optional)
  • Coffee / Tea during coffee breaks

Method of payment

  • KCAB INTERNATIONAL accepts payment by Bank Transfer to:

    • Woori Bank Trade Center Branch, Seoul
  • The actual fees may differ from cost above because of the change of the exchange rate, transaction fee, etc.
  • Payment should be made within three (3) days after the registration.
  • Your registration is considered complete only:
    1. When the secretariat confirms the registration via email, and
    2. After KCAB INTERNATIONAL have received the full amount of registration fee.

Cancellation & Refund

  • Any cancellation and request for refunds must be submitted by email to seoulacademy@kcab.or.kr before 30 August 2019.
  • In the case of cancellation, there will be a deduction of 40% of the registration fee (including the processing fee). Refund will be made within three (3) months after the commencement of Seoul Academy for International Arbitration 2019.

Attendance

Participants admitted to attend Seoul Academy for International Arbitration 2019 will be expected to attend all the sessions of the academy. If an academy participant is absent from one or more sessions without acceptable justification they will be precluded from receiving a certificate of participation at the end of the Session.

The Seoul IDRC (Trade Tower 18F) is located in the COEX Convention & Exhibition Center, Samseong-dong of Gangnam-gu district, Seoul.

Transportation from Incheon International Airport

  1. Limousine Bus Services

    • Departs approximately every 10-20 minutes.
    • No prior reservation is necessary. You can simply purchase the ticket immediately prior to taking the bus.
    • The travel time is 65-80 minutes depending on bus type.

  2. Taxi

    • The travel time is approximately 60 minutes and the costs usually ₩60,000 to ₩90,000.

  3. Subway

    • The travel time is 100 to 110 minutes depending on the transfer method.
    • Incheon International Airport Station (Incheon Airport Railroad) > Gimpo Airport Station, transfer to subway line 9 > Bongeunsa Station
    • Incheon International Airport Station (Incheon Airport Railroad) > Hongik Univ. Station, transfer to subway line 2 > Samseong Station

Transportation from Seoul Station

  1. Limousine Bus Services

    • The travel time is approximately 45 minutes.
    • Seoul Station Bus Transfer Center, Blue bus #401 > World Trade Center Seoul

  2. Taxi

    • The travel time is approximately 30 minutes and the costs usually ₩13,000 - ₩17,000.

  3. Subway

    • The travel time is approximately 50 minutes.
